Teaching approach
As with all modules, familiarise yourself with the NPMT principles.
The module seeks to teach students how to:
Understand the approach to basic investigation and initial management
Recognise the importance of a medication review for patients with AKI
Recognise patients who may need ICU involvement and consideration of dialysis for acute renal failure
