Central Coast

Near-Peer Medical Teaching

NPMT is a key component of working on the Central Coast as a Junior Medical Officer .

The Central Coast benefits from a flourishing near-peer teaching network which has developed across a diverse array of disciplines taught through a steadily expanding array of mediums. The teaching network was founded on the basis of providing resource and logistical support to empower interested JMOs to teach. This website was developed to expand on that principle by providing an open access platform to share teaching resources developed within our programs and provide a mechanism for state, national and international collaboration to expand this program.

We strongly encourage teachers regardless of their clinical location to share their own work through the site to allow for an ever-expanding pool of resources for each generation of JMOs to preserve our collective knowledge. To find out how to get involved use the link below.

All curriculum packs and content found on this site is free and licensed under a creative commons license. We hope it empowers you to teach and improve your ability as an educator.
